Spritz on perfume and change lives

Your perfume doesn’t need to be heavy or particularly noticeable for others to realize its there. In the case of some perfumes, people may not even really realize its there, yet the perfume still has an effect on them and how they think. When you have a signature scent or perfume, people unconsciously attach that smell to you – whenever they sense it in the area, they automatically associate the perfume with you and think that you’re nearby.

Some perfumes can inspire this years after the fact. If you were particularly close with someone – say a family member, friend, or co-worker – and they smelled your perfume nearly every day, they may smell the same perfume decades after you’ve changed perfumes and glance around to see if you’re there. This can be especially true with cheap perfume, which sometimes has a stronger smell than other perfume. This is not to say that cheap perfume smells bad, but it sometimes wears out more quickly than non discount perfume scents. Some people apply more of the perfumes to make up for it, which means it can be slightly stronger.

Other people associate a specific perfume with an event in their lives or a feeling. If their mother often wore one perfume, they may smell that perfume many years later and feel comforted or calm. It doesn’t matter if it’s the most expensive perfume on the planet or the discount perfume your grandmother always bought at the drugstore, the effect is the same. Perfume inspires memories, and it can almost act as a time machine.
